Kill all running process in Unix

Problem : Suddenly my works on
Unix behaved abnormally, e.g. whenever I clicked ‘save’ the application
halted. So all that I need at that time was : kill all the running
processes so as I would come back to normal state. How to ?

Reference : google: unix bash kill all background process how to ? -> Process Management

I found it on the web, it say to see the processes running, use the bash command : ps -u
and to kill all the process use : kill -9 -1

Enjoy a refresh restart 🙂 !
